Yes you create yourself the way you want. You are the creator. You are the created! So for sure, thoughts become real. How can you make a happy person out of a sad fellow? There is a way the brain would accept. You need to flood with joyful and happy thoughts. No theory knowledge will help. This we say flood with endorphins. Jumping into the sea of fun and joy and happiness alone will help. There are no shortcuts. It takes some time. You need to be persuasive.The old brain changes into a new one, yes a new one, at all ages. It is called ‘plasticity’. So, how wonderful it is, any behavior, trait can be changed into one we desire! This morning did you feel you were treated unfairly? Tomorrow you will feel more so, most likely. The brain makes it, by default. So, to prevent it you need to be vigilant and awake on what inputs are fed to brain, on day to day basis. What is a hell? It is too many people around, everyone lonely and one dislikes the other. They are disconnected. As you munch criticism in the name of analysis and giving out your opinion, you will slowly, unconsciously, create such a hell. You just do not create it; you will also live in it. And eventually you become that. In a heaven, people are connected, like a flock of birds or heard of animals. There is a simple, natural connectedness, which is physiology. How can you connect yourself to others? Kindness to others connects you to others. Cruelty disconnects. All cruel, hostile people are lone individuals trying to make a team desperately. Happy people are naturally connected and their natural emotions are kindness and love. They sing songs. They do not feel sadness and sing a sad song. You do not need to fight your anger and become a sage. Anger is not bad. It is a reply to an insult. But, insults are renewed and recycled. They are remembered. That’s bad! But, recycling is the law in the brain. It is by default. So, you need some authentic genuinely made guidance to overtake this natural phenomenon of brain. Start the Vehicle: Whatever be your mood you, jump into the sea of enthusiasm, laughter and joy. Take such a company. Leave the company of irritators, braggers and people with negative minds. Find yourself in the garden of joy and happiness. Find out what gives you happiness and be there. This is starting the car. Apply Clutch: You need to calm down your agitated mind. Sometimes the car refuses to start. The mind refuses to take a good mood. It refuses to leave the wrong place, those destructive emotions and you get stuck there. Then you need to calm down the mind first so that, you can sing and dance. Mind needs a kind of retreat and refreshment. This we call applying clutch. Here we have made a tool to calm the mind, this is not meditation or prayer but a technique which the brain takes in easily, no matter how bruised it is. This is a one hour process it needs to be practiced everyday. This is pure entertainment and no boring stuff. After this you may jump to joy and happiness. Change the gear: You can’t run the car in the same gear; you need to change the gear according to the situations. That is you can’t be singing and dancing the whole day. That also would bore you at some point of time. You need to be fresh, creative and active. So you have to be engaged in a few creative and useful activities. You can take them one after the other. Monotony and repetitiveness will take away all the joy. To be active and creative all the time, one needs to keep a lofty ideal for his life. Thus we do our little to the good of our company, the human race, to this planet. This is like a cricket match where they play two innings. In our life also we have two innings to play. The first innings is the family, home, children and all that. The first innings is complete when your children grow up and they are one their own. The second innings is to dedicate your life for the world which is your larger home. You keep some long term goal for this second innings and keep working for it. This will give you a meaning to your life. |

Yes it is... you will get to know the science behind Bindas Living once you are done reading below article Happiness is our birth right. It is the privilege of all human beings. You may need to struggle for pleasure but not for happiness. It is there in every cell of our body. Endorphin is the chemical which helps you experience happiness. It is produced in the brain and nerve cells. Every cell in the body has the receiver (receptor) to catch this and feel the happiness. These are called opium receptors. Millions of such receptors are present in the body which can experience the bliss of happiness. Nobody can give you this bliss and nobody can take them away either. It is your own personal possession. But if the production of endorphins are stopped or decreased for some reason, you can no longer experience happiness. You will eventually move into depression. |

Is the endorphin producing system intact and functional in your body? That is the question. Here are ways to adopt and keep the endorphin system active and working. These are three principles, scientific and easy to understand. If you understand and practice them, you will remain happy. 1) Flood with endorphins: Happiness is habit. It is a practice. The brain simply absorbs whatever we feed to it. So, feed only happiness and it takes only that and also, lives only that. We say, what you feed is what you are! 2) Disconnect the Limbic System: The limbic system is a part of brain where emotions take shape. All that anger, fear, sorrows, disappointments move out from here and they spread to other areas of the brain and also to the body. You need to disconnect this flow voluntarily and deliberately and it is possible. You need to learn and practice this. You will there by possess a control on your emotions. You will become the master of your emotions and you will spend them at your will. An intense vigil, a deep generalized and spread out attention to everything around will disconnect the limbic system. This is not concentration. It is not meditation. It is simply becoming more alert, more aware of things around. It is being more attentive. You practice to hear the “tick tock” sound of a clock in the room. You will gradually increase your attentiveness. This will eventually disconnect the flow of wrong and habituated emotions. You will become calm and fresh. If you develop headache or some other symptoms then you are doing it incorrectly you are struggling and putting effort. Why should you struggle to hear the sound of clock or the breeze of air? Stop! Suspend your efforts to reach to something. It automatically comes. 3) Make use of neural plasticity: The brain is not a block of stone. It is alive always replacing and creating. When neural cells stop replenishing, they move towards degeneration and death. Fortunately for us, our brains are capable of making new, fresh neural circuits at all times at any age. A ground must be created for this. So you need to break the monotony and repetitiveness. Venture into new possibilities. Be creative and engage yourself in useful, beneficial, creative activities. This will prevent aging. Keep learning new things, open yourself to new ideas. Give up the attitude of frog in the well. Rejuvenations in brain does not happen on its own, we have to sponsor it. |
